Thoughts Become Action

I stumble over the words as I put pen to page. The words are on the tip of my tongue, yet they will not flow through the ink and present themselves to the world.

“There will be days like this”, they say. I will say there are probably more days like this than not. Life impedes creativity and blocks the light that hides behind the screen of fate. When this happens, I always feel a “pep talk” coming right behind the self-doubt.

Thinking is easy, acting is difficult, and to put one’s thoughts into action is the most difficult thing in the world. ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The world is moving so fast today that sometimes it’s difficult to know whether you are coming or going. One minute you have everything under control, the next you are grasping for that lifeline hoping to survive the storm. Situations arise every day that can make or break us. It is how we react to those situations that determine our success.

It is so easy to look at a situation and reason a way around the obstacle that brings you to a screeching halt. As soon as you try to put those thoughts into action you may find the solution is not as simple as originally appeared. Our thoughts may look good on paper, but once we put them in motion, the thought may not be as fluid as originally assumed.

We all experience situations such as this from time to time. Putting our thoughts into action can sometimes be the most challenging step in succeeding or reaching a goal. Be comforted in knowing you are not the only one who stumbles at the auction block. Get back up plot a new course; review your situation and act again and you will meet the challenge with success as you finally reach your goal.

So now I return to the “A Dangerous Truth” where I will see how life continues to unfold for the characters as time unfolds before them and brings them to their destiny.

A Storm Is Brewing

This morning I turned on my computer and stepped away for a moment while the programs loaded. When I returned good, old Windows 10 had once again given me an image to contemplate.
I wasn’t sure what I would write about, but when I saw the image in front of me, it became clear. I saw before me nature unfolding dramatically. I saw in the distant a storm brewing. The clouds were accumulating; gathering as if preparing a scheme, planning its attack. As the clouds became darker and darker, the rumble began. The orchestra of sound was escalating and bringing to life the air that had become stagnant. The change became more than clear as the lightning struck the rocks below.
The clouds rolled in faster and faster, and the sky grew dark, and the rains fell. The pitter patter of rain slowly became a pounding that drowned out the sounds of the birds as they scattered to find a haven from the storm. The lightning followed by the booming crash of thunder that resonated across the sky; the vibration absorbed by the earth below.
As I studied the image, a thought came to my mind. This scene that played out in front of me was so similar to the life we are experiencing today. As we sit back and study, the course of recent time we see the parallel between the storm in the sky and what we are living through right now. The stormy energy has been brewing for a long time. Humanity is about to unleash its wrath just as the lightning emitted in the sky. The booming anger of humanity is drowning out the beautiful sounds of nature. We can’t see the forest through the trees because we have become so focused on negative energy we can’t let our guard down and let in the light.
What a comparison. Think of it. As the clouds accumulate and absorb the negative energy; humankind is absorbing all the surrounding negativity. Negativity begets negativity. It grows like a plague unleashing itself on society and kills the kindness we have been ignoring. The storm in the sky unleashed on the earth, and we have natural catastrophes all over the globe. On a human level, we are doing the same thing. We have unleashed the negativity on each other, and there is very little peace.

I believe the calm before the storm is long gone now. We are amid a storm is out of control. Maybe if we change our energy, it will affect the surrounding energy. We as humans have a responsibility to love and protect. We have forgotten that as we sling negativity at one another. Maybe it’s time the tides turn. If nature can do it, we can as well..

Who's Up For The Challenge?

Today I manifest the reality of the truth that will set me free.

What, you say?

We live in a world that tells us how to think, what to believe and how we should act. People constantly tell us we should be politically correct. I’d like to know what the definition of politically correct is. Some tell us to be considerate of others. We should be mindful of their feelings and be accepting of their beliefs and behaviors. While I think this is a good idea, I’d like to know why being politically correct is so one-sided?

I’m sure you think this conversation will turn into a debate, but I must tell you that would be a wild assumption. I believe we should accept others and be tolerant of every individual. I’m just curious who set the boundaries for “political correctness”? Whoever they are, I think they are narrow-minded. I think they have forgotten the people who want to be conservative and have moral values different from the belief system that is being forced on them in the name of political correctness. The bottom line is this. We have political correctness because the government is determining how we should behave and just like everything else the government does they have messed up that.

I will use my mind today to determine how I behave. I will think on my own and in the process be kind and loving and helpful and tolerant. I will decide for myself and allow others the freedom to do the same, without judgment.

We all need to be tolerant, but it’s time to set aside history and who did what to whom. We need to forgive and move forward. If we keep bringing up what our ancestors did to one another, we can never truly love and forgive. I challenge everyone today who desires to heal and move on to take up forgiveness and make way for gratitude, which opens the heart to love.

If we forgive, we can heal and make way in our minds to grow and learn and make a better life for our children.

Who’s up for the challenge?
